I hope that yáll enjoyed the conference. It was a great two days of inspiration, talks and songs. There was one talk that really grabbed my attention. I really liked the talk by Elder Curtis Jr about the Book of Mormon. I loved the experiences that he used to explain the importance of the book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon has a power that can help us stay on track and feel the peace of the holy spirit. Every night before I go to bed I always read a chapter of El Libro de Mormón. It fills me with peace and the calm that I need. Many days after a long day of work, listening to the problems that the people have in this town, walking all day and having to constantly be with a companion; Reading the Book of Mormon helps me to sleep and overcome the things that I have passed. I know that this sounds like a NyQuil commercial but it really helps.

There was another talk that I equally liked by Sister McConkie. She talked about the power of the prayer. There were two points that I took away from her talk. 1) The prayer coupled with faith will bring blessing. 2) The prayer will align our will with that of God´s. I really like these points because I have seen them first hand on the misión.

I hope that you guys will take the invitations extended by these two speakers and read the Book of Mormon every day and pray with faith in all times and in all places. I know that it is true and I know that yáll will withstand the temptations of the adversary.
