This is the view from my window
So this week was a little slow. It
was like one of those Peanut butter sandwiches that tastes great but has a
little bit too much PB and it´s hard to chew. We tried really hard but nobody
showed up to the church.
What was really crazy is that this
whole week it has been raining like crazy. I think it is from the left overs of
a hurricane that hit Baja Cali. but I might be wrong. Still all this whole week
it has been raining. Wednesday we went to the limits of our area for a lesson
when all of a sudden we heard the rain coming. We could hear it banging on roof
tops but we were dry. So we went inside and a few seconds later it soaked the
area. It let up so we left but then it started up even harder so we had to
sprint for cover. It kept going and we had to go to a lesson so we sprinted
down the streets. We tried to keep dry but it didn´t work. At this point the
roads became flooded and we had to wait for a ride to cross the street. We must
have looked like a disaster when we showed up to the lesson. That was Wednesday.
Yesterday at 0 dark hundred it
rained dogs and cats. It was crazy. When we woke up the streets were flooded
again. Fortunately, it´s really hot here so it dried up pretty fast for how
much it was. But when we left the house for church we had to catch a ride just
to cross the street. When we got to the church it was a little flooded so we
had to mop it up. Fortunately, after church it almost all dried up and we only
had to cross 2 or 3 really deep rivers but we stayed dry. So yes we got a lot
of rain this week.
We didn´t have much success this
week but we did our best and it may have rained on our numbers but there was
nothing else we could do.
I have to go but I hope you guys
have fun. Remember that school is the perfect opportunity to share the gospel.
I love you guys.
